Question - Is this a product people want & need ?
Answer - We live in a culture of 'Look Good, feel good' You only have to turn on the TV and there are programmes on your image, your style, what makes you feel good. Image is about confidence, and when you look good on the outside you feel great on the inside and your confidence grows. Mary Kay is about making people feel good.
We have a skincare range for all skin types, all skin tones, men and teenagers.
Question - How does the business work ?
Answer - Mary Kay Cosmetics is a direct selling company. We are a member of the DSA and OFT . Direct selling means there are no 'middle men', you are the retailer (consultant) dealing directly with the wholesaler (Mary Kay). You then sell the products to your customers. It is not multi level, or pyramid.
Question - How we make our money ?
Skincare Classes: teaching 3 - 6 ladies how to look after their skin using our product range. Takes on average 2 hours - average sales= £125 earning between 30-40% profit = £15 to £25 per hour.
Facials: teaching 1-2 ladies how to look after their skin using our product range. Takes on average 1-2 hours - average sales = £75 earning 30-40% profit = £15 - £25 per hour.
Re-orders: We have a 65-85% customer loyalty rate. Because of the principles of looking after your customers we have great loyalty. Re-orders can come over the telephone, by email or through the companys website. Each order earns 30-40% profit.
Teambuilding Commission: Introducing ladies/men into Mary Kay, can earn you great commission levels of anything from 4% upwards.
Potential earnings based on doing 3 classes per week, with average sales of £125 per class = £1,500 per month = £600 profit. (This maybe less or more - these are just average figures)
Question - Is there a career path or opportunity to grow ?
Answer - There is ample opportunity to grow your career, there is no glass ceiling, no limitations on numbers, nothing holding you back from becoming the success you deserve to be.
Question - How much time do I have to commit ?
